Carry The Cure provides workshops to equip student with the neccessary tools to avoid and prevent harmful choices and activites they are faced with on a daily basis. The following is a list of current workshops available.

 

 

ASSIST/QPR (Question, Persuade, & Refer)
Community suicide prevention training. This training empowers anyone to identify the warning signs of someone who may be suicidal. It teaches how to ask the important questions. The key component taught in this workshop is persuasion. The last part of the core training is teaching people what resources are available to them and how and when to refer someone that may be at risk.

"The Hope Salesman"
A more personal approach to offering hope to the oppressed.

Refusal Skills/"Own Your Zone"
This workshop is designed to give student the “Why Not” as opposed to giving them the information and expecting them to “Just say No”. The first portion of the workshop takes a more personal and generational approach to identify some of the root causes of substance abuse. The next section give students practical tips and advice on how to “Own you zone” by making advanced decisions about how you will handle peers pressuring you to use drugs, alcohol or tobacco.

911 Conflict Resolution
This workshop teaches students how to deal with anger, resentment, and conflict in proper ways.

"Bullying the Bully"
A new workshop that attempts to redierect the bully, as well as teaching the one being bullied how to excape the one trying to be harmful.

"Better Than Good Enough"
CTC, Inc's workshop to help students find their way in the search for significance. This workshop dives into the issues that usually make someone feel like they are not good enough, and teaches them that they are "better than good enough".

Abstinence
This workshop helps students to save themselves for their future spouse and keep them safe from teenage pregnancy or STD's.

"Good Kid/Bad Kid"
Teaches children how to win their families approval in a way that honors their mothers and fathers.

"'Til Death Do Us Part"
This marriage workshop encourages married couples to fall in love again by learning their spouse's love language. It also deals with many of the misconceptions about marriage, and gives solutions to those problems.

"A Man's Man"
Designed to empower a man to be a real man - one of courage, purity, character, and integrity. This is an intese workshop dealing with the struggles that are common to all men.
